Anything you want, if you have the right tools to mill it into dimensional stock. Some driftwood logs can be very large, and can have very high quality (tight grain, dense wood). Just use a metal detector to check it before you mill it. At the very least, you will need a large band saw, thickness planer, and jointer. A table saw would be helpful as well.

I have seen people use driftwood in it's natural form to make furniture, lamps, railings, picture frames, pens, as well as other arts and crafts uses.
