1/4 of a white onion

tomatoes

potatoes

spaghetti noodles

Not all items have to be used. and i have the other typical kitchen stuff like eggs, milk, flour, sugar, salt, pepper, bak powder. if u have any ideas.

I'm having guests over for lunch, and i dont have time to run out and buy food, so i need to use what i have on hand to make something hearty, flavorful and satisfying. Umm... If u have any ideas, let me know. thanks.

oh, btw, i'd like it if the recipe time was less than 2hrs. THANKS>

  1. You could make meatloaf, mashed potatoes and whatever vegetable you have.

    And trust me..if you dont have sage dont worry if you dont use it it wont affect the fllavor very much. If you dont have ground mustard you can use 1/2 tbsp of wet prepared mustard.  Use 1/2 cu breadcrumbs if no bread, and i always put a couple tbsp of ketchup IN my meatloaf to give it zing in addition to the top.


  2. If you have tomato sauce too you can make spaghetti sauce and have spaghetti.  It takes Hamburger, onion, tomatoes, tomato sauce, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp basil, salt and pepper and garlic to taste.  You only have to cook it for 30 minutes.

  4. you can make a spaghetti version of alfredo and instead of chicken use the ground beef

    cook the noodles to desired tenderness, brown hamburger, drain do not rinse, dice the onions, peppers and tomatoes, cook for about 3 minutes until tender.  take the ricotta cheese and put in some salt and pepper, and about 1/4 cup of milk and heat that up in a sauce pan until bubbly, drain the noodles, do not rinse, put on serving platter and put sauce on noodles and toss.  all that would take about 30 minutes.

    you can also make garlic bread with garlic salt and butter, about 1 TBSP of garlic salt to 1/2 cup of butter, spread on bread, BROIL about 3 minutes rotating frequently.

  5. Dice the onion and half a pepper and sweat until the onion is clear.  Add the ground beef and brown it.  Drain.

    Dice enough tomatoes to make about 2 cups.  Add to the meat mixture, season with garlic powder, salt and pepper, and basil, if you have it.  You want the tomatoes to get hot, but not to break down.

    Toss with spaghetti.  Offer cheese on the side.

    make spaghetti sauce: fry Little onion add tomato chopped and if u have tomato past put some too ,add salt pepper and paprika cook it on low and add the meat balls cook it 30-40 min

    boil the spaghetti until soft.

    serve: put the spaghetti on the plat  and above meatballs with sauce

  7. forget the pasta and make a quiche

    make a pastry with your staple items.

    Brown & drain the meat.

    cook the onion & pepper in the meat fat-drain.

    Incorporate the meat, veg, ricotta, and tomatoes with quiche egg base.
