  1. chop it all up and throw it in a pan with some oil and add some eggs and voila fried rice

  2. Fajitas, just get some wraps.

  3. Something to make certain your guests chuck up!

  4. Sounds like you're making fried rice. And if you've got any garlic, ginger and soy sauce on hand, then you've got a lovely dinner for the parents.

I usually saute minced onion, garlic and fresh ginger in very hot vegetable oil. Add vegetables, meat or fish and continue to cook through. Next add in the cooked rice. You could also add an egg and scramble it into the mix. For seasoning, throw in a dash of soy, minced spring onion and corriander and fresh ground pepper. Continue to mix well in the pan until all ingredients are blended and the rice is heated through. Serve in bowls with some of the fresh minced herbs on top.

Fried rice is also a great solution for leftovers.

  5. You can make a wonderful fried rice!!  Make sure you start with your cooked rice cold.  Hopefully you also have a couple of eggs.  If you do, beat them, place in a hot skillet, sprinkle with the ground black pepper and cook as one big pancake.  Roll up and set aside.  Dice the chicken and saute in some oil (if raw) - very good using sesame oil.  Cook in the same pan you did the egg in - you don't have to clean it.  Set aside.  Dice the onions and saute until translucent.  Add the bell peppers, cut into small pieces and saute until tender. Add the rice to the pan, with the bell peppers, onions and the chicken, smashing the rice into them. Cook a bit until the rice is warm.   Add some soy sauce (hopefully you have it) and stir to coat all the rice with the soy sauce.  With the egg rolled up, cut it width-wise into strips and just before serving, stir it into the mixture.  The soy sauce is better if you mix a little water and sugar in with it before adding it to the mixture.  That will take away some of the bitterness of the soy sauce.

    Enjoy!

  6. tacos, just fry up some corn tortillas and fill with your chcken pepper mix. add some salsa to the rice and heat. some cold drinks and you are there

  7. JAMBALAYA!

If that's ALL you have, you'll need to alter the recipe somewhat.
