What can i put in a flyer that promotes a mexican restaurant? thinking dinner for three kids eat free?

its been open for three weeks but its still slow. alot of the same people tells me they like the food.. any suggestions

Ok, maybe.....

free beverages (non-alcoholic, of course) with the purchase of a meal.

10% discount on groups of 6 or more to local businesses.

Free dessert with the purchase of a meal (you could put a min. $ amount on it if you like.)

I would suggest advertising (even if only by flyer) to local school staff and businesses. There is a great "word of mouth" factor there!!

If the food is good, like you have been told, you can't go wrong.

No, No, No... that's too limiting.  What about people without kids?  Or what about people that just don't have the kids with them?

Appeal to an average consumer and something broad enough that ANYBODY could take advantage of it.

Do 2 for 1 Tuesday specials.  while you might only break even, you might also get MORE people talking about how great the food is and spreading the word.  Nothing is stronger then word of mouth advertising.

Offer, Buy a Soda get a taco free.  Fountains drinks only cost about 10 or 20 cents so charge $1.50 and cover the cost on your soda and taco because most people won't be full on only 1 taco.  Even if the cheapskates come in for the offer you're still covered and AGAIN, if the food is great they'll tell their friends.
