What can i put in my car for performce>?

i have a 92 mr2 N/A turbo, what can i put in the engine to make it better faster etc? except for a turbo or nitrous!

If you wanna get the best performance for the best value, get a turbocharger... With a blow-off valve to make it sound cool =P.

I don't see why you don't want one, though. They boost up your HP and your gas mileage.

You could put in a cold air intake, also.

an N/A turbo??? no such thing mate.

anyway if you dont want a turbo (if you dont have on already, cant tell) do what people have said. bigger better exhaust (2.25 or 2.5inch MAXIMUM. keep the size equal all the way through) whack on a cold air intake (CAI) make one up ourself wont cost u more the $50 and its fun. bigger inlet manifold and throttle body. after this you"ll have to do some expensive head work. port and polish would give a good improvement. an aggressive set of cams would give the biggest gain. new valves, valve springs. better bang for your buck putting in a 3SGTE or just buying a turbo car.

the BIGGEST gains you"ll get is from suspension upgrades. better shocks (adjustable is best) and springs, even coil oversif the budget permits, upgrade your pads and rotors and whack in some steel braided brake lines. better clutch maybe shave the flywheel (make it rev quicker) a short shifter would be helpful. thicker sway bars and links. better bushes........the list goes on and on. just make the chassis as stiff as you want.

first place to do any upgrades is the airflow, and exhaust

Start with a good air filter and cold air kit, then maybe a larger throttle body, and injectors (bye bye gas mileage) then look to upgrade the exhaust to something more freeflowing.

After that your going to be into changing cams, adding a larger T-4 turbo, and upping the boost, and a new ECU.

Would be cheaper to go buy a faster car to begin with~

You can rebuild your engine and use higher compression pistons if they are available, you can get hotter cams, again if they are available, or u could have your cams reground for more performance.......you can port the head, have the head resurfaced for more compression, have larger valves installed for more air flow, bigger fuel pump, larger injectors, reprogram the computer for more aggresive spark/air fuel ratio...high flow QUIET exhaust system, K&N air filter setup...please do all of this and race this rocket in scca! Actually thats a great place to ask people. Find an MR2 forum or find an SCCA sanctioned track and start hanging out there. Ask the mr2 crowd for ideas, and praise them on theirs, cuz you catch more flies with honey, my friend. ROCK ON
