What can i put in my flyer to Promote a RUSSIAN restaurant??

i just need general ideas to put in my flyer, like maybe discounts, or a good inviting message, i just cant think of any

1. Emphasize the Russianness of it by printing one side in English and the other in Russian.

2. Send letters to every Russian CHURCH in town offering a discount. They'll post the flyer. and word will get out.

3. Offer a special discount deal on parties...especially birthday parties.

4. Cater affairs OUTSIDE the restaurant -- homes  and offices

5. Have a special Russian Day once a month. Music, dancing, special dishes, discounts, beauty contest, russian entertainers (musicians, so everybody'll be able to enjoy them)

6. Contact the Russian consul in town, if there is one (look them up in the phone book under Russia or Russian Federation) and invite employes in at a special one-time discount. Also a good way to ensure a steady sourceof employes..waiters, busboys, bartenders, chefs

7. Contact colleges in school -- the Russian or Slavic Language Department. Special deal. for entire class to have an end of term party.

8. Make a list of Russian holildays, especially religious ones, like Russian Easter and Russian Christmas, and have special menus. Make sure newspapers hear about them.

9. Have the restaurant blessed by local Russian clergy. Publicize this

10. Research the history of Russians in your community. Perhaps one was an old-time settler many years ago. Have a special Day in his honor. Invite mayor ,other politicians.Maybe there's family still around.

11. Never miss an oppty to publicize your restaurant. Sponsor a softball team or other sport. March in every ethnic parade in Russian costume, even St Patrick's!

12. Set up a website with links to every community site, from local chemaber of commerce and schools to other businesses.

You could probably have a promotion going for summer specials, and include some coupons for popular items (maybe something like Free Dessert with coupon). Be sure to put an expiration date within one month to create a need to come in fast.

Also you should probably consult a Russian Graphic Designer because they are very familiar with creating promotions, and a Russian guy will be familiar with your product. The look of the flyer and the way it's laid out will affect how the readers see it and represent the overall look of your restaurant.

Well, I know nothing about commercial, but people look for cheap food, a nice place, and good tasting food. You could start by advertising what people want. And also advertise some sort of special, like, on Tuesdays everything is 15% off. (just an example)
