  1. before you get in the pool get your hair wet with tap water. then put some conditioner in.

this will help because the chlorine won't asorbe  as much.

try to take a shower after swimming.

  2. yeah, i've had the same thing happen to me... and it sucks.  after you finished swimming just wash your hair right away, using swimmers shampoo..... is a specific shampoo made for that!! well hope that helps!! =)

  3. You could soak your hair with tap water first.

Your hair can only take in so much water, so if it already has absorbed the tap water, it won't absorb much chlorinated water.

  4. When your about to swim or dive you can put on a swimming cap and that might work.

  5. ok i have blonde streaks to

heres what i do i swim then when i get home there is this shampoo made for highlights and it takes out the chlorine and it hasnt messed up my hair  its called ultraswim and it works

  6. A lot of people claim that "ash" blond has a natural green base and will turn it green with chlorine. But if you want to keep it blond just put a little bit of lemon juice in you hair before you go out in the sun, its a natural bleaching agent that won't fry your hair. And if your hair drys out insanely because of the chlorine in the pool, take about a quarter-size amount of conditioner and work it through your hair before you get in the pool. Keeps in the moisture and helps de-tangling it. Good Luck.

  7. If you saturate your hair with water before getting in the pool, the hair shaft will not be able to take the chlorine in. My hair is light blonde and this has always worked for me.
