What can i put on my wall to liven it up..? (13 year old girls bedroom)?

Hi, my room is light pink with cream carpet and i have a fuchsia throw on a chair and a hint of turquoise here and there, what can I put on my wall to make it look less boring.

I have a thing about keeping it clean and making it look like one from a catalogue so i don't want anything tacky.

I keep my rooms like that too, I am a little obsessed with making my home look like the home section of the Next catalogue!

I am thinking of getting some of those re positionable stickers from Next for my daughter's room.  The item no. is 386-550-X42.  Put that in next.co.uk search bar.  It looks like it might go with your scheme.

Get a funky shaped mirror - I have one shaped like a star.

Or get a clip frame and make a montage of photo's that you have.

Get a corkboard and make it like a scrapbook :]

I don't know if you count posters as tacky, but yeah :]

take a trip to b&q - they have large 'wall sticker' thingys that don't damage the paint - and can peel off when you change colours - why not some funky flowers or some anime characters? i've used them in my daughters bedroom - looks good :-)

A really good painting or a framed poster of your favorite celebrity :)

You can buy some material with any shapes/butterfiles/flowers,cut out the pattern mix up some flour and water dip the shapes in to it and stick them on the wall,the thing about doing this is the paste becomes clear when it drys, and can be removed very easly with no marks so you can chop and change as much as you want,also you can choose what you want to use, any pattern off any material enjoy.

You can buy stencils that you can paint on in lots of different shapes eg. hearts and flowers, but you could always make your own with masking tape in simple shapes eg. squares, they look really effective!

Or you could blow up some of your favourite photos of friends/family, or make a giant collage of photos in a clip frame..

Collect the colours of your room-light pink,cream fuchsia and turquoise, and buy blank art canvases in five different sizes. Paint each of the empty canvases one of the different colours and arrange them on one wall according to their

size-the splash of colour in close proximity to one another other will look beautiful.
