You need to check with your local council. They all accept different stuff, they should have sent you a booklet. If you put the wrong stuff in often they will charge you and even block your service.

there are a lot of things you can recycle, but candy wrappers are not one of them unless it's just aluminum foil like on a Hershey Kiss.  

Paper, Cardboard, Newspaper, Magazines, Plastics, Glass, Tin, Tires, Toner Cartridges, Oil Drums, Styrofoam, but NOT batteries...Yes there are places that accept batteries and some even say for recycling, but in actuality, they are just "disposed of properly"  Some companies have even admitted they just throw them away!!

Most things are recycleable.  Look on the packaging of bottles, cans , cardboard, paper, aluminium, plastic, they should have a recycle number.  When you put old clothes in a clothing centre thats recycling, giving your kids shoes to friends kids when they no longer fit, putting your food scraps in the compost to fertilise the garden.  Even getting the seeds out of your veges to replant. It is all recycling.  Everybody has a responsibility to do their best for the environment and we all need to be training our children to be vigilant in this.... Happy recycling !!

You can recycle almost all plastics, glass, aluminum, paper, cardboard, STYROFOAM, clothes, shoes....as a matter of fact most things you buy can be recycled.  If you use something past it's normal lifetime, it's recycled.  When you put clothes in a Goodwill box, they'll be recycled (re-used), when you sell a car for parts, that's called re-cycling, when you use plastic milk jugs in the ground to water plants, you're recycling. (poke a tiny hole in a jug, put it in the ground beside each plant, water the plant through the jug..the water leaks out gradually instead of all at once like with the garden hose...this way the plant gets all the water, there is no runoff) Re-use wood from torn down houses and sheds..make shelving, birdhouses, pet houses, an outdoor table for potting plants, etc...that's recycling, too. It's not so difficult, just think about it. Actually, many people have recycled for generations by handing down antique furniture and heirlooms, inheriting houses. Buy at yard sales and flea markets. Yes most items we use on a daily basis can be recycled. These include the cereal packets, newspapers, all packaging from cardboard to plastic.

We stared recycling several years ago and we have reduced our bin bags from four to half a bag for two weeks of living.

In Birmingham, England we only have to sort paper and card from the rest of the waste and the council does the rest. So good luck in your efforts to recycle.

i dont know what is the process to recycle the chocolate wrappers bt it can be recycled.in ur house u can recycle the kitchen waste into usefull manures just by digging a pit and putting all the waste into that.dont through ur chocolate wrappers in that becoz plactice is not easily degradable.
