What can i see in my telescope with the lpr/uhc filter?

i have a nexstar 4se, now will i see what i see in photos or will it just be a faint cloud?

  1. You should pick up more contrast on nebulae.

    Unfortunately, i have no experience with this combination of scope and filter.

    I use an oxygen 3 filter on my 10" Dob.  The 10" gathers enough light to toss most of it away (which the oxygen 3 filter does).  This gives me a black background with the nebulae in high contrast on it, even in centers of cities with grocery store parking lights (which describes my driveway pretty well).  In very dark skies, i can do without.
