  1. not eating meat!!!

  2. If you are really serious about becoming a vegetarian, you want to do it right.  If you were a smoker and wanted to quit you would gradually cut down. I advise the same with meats etc. Start by eliminating red meats, then eliminate light meats, then eggs, cheese, etc. gradually add more fibers, veggies, protein. I would also advise taking a protein supplement. Trader Joes has a great soy protein powder that you can add to yogurt, cereal, etc. There are also many alternatives to meats and animal products. Morning star has a great line of fo-meats and cheeses that taste really good. Also, make sure to take a multi- vitamin to make sure you are still getting your nutrients. I wish you all the best!

  3. Start with changing your mind.Did you know that there is not now,nor has there EVER been,a vegetarian who lived to be 100 ? No,not 1.

God created meat "to be recieved with thanksgiving by those who know the truth" and said "for every creature is good for meat and nothing to be refused"

  4. here is what i did....first eliminate red meat. (just eat fish, chicken, and turkey) then eliminate the chicken and turkey. Lastly, stop eating fish.

    Good luck!

  5. One big mistake people tend to start with when becoming a vegetarian is replacing meat with carbohydrates.  You still need protein- you just have to get it from other sources- nuts, nut butters, legumes, and tofu are all good sources that are easy to find and easy to cook with.  But go find a good vegetarian cook book to start you off!  There are also plenty of websites out there with easy, yummy recipes (I listed a few in the Sources box), and this one (http://www.goveg.com/) is all about getting into it.

Just remember to keep a healthy balance of carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables, and alternative proteins!  Good luck!

  6. eating meat is important its just part of life people are omnivores that's meat and veggies cows will reproduce we will never run out, and killing animals is part of nature.
