  1. try taking a pain reliever.. advil works for me then go to a dentist

  2. omg use hurricane. its a kind of novication. its usally over the counter if not ask for a perscriction. it will numb your mouth for days. and try icing it and going to the dentist

  3. Uh, aspirin, tylenol...?

If it is a cavity, then you can try the creams they use for babies who are teething, numbs the area for a bit.

That is only temporary, you will need to see a dentist soon...the area can get an infection that can then go into your jaw and be even more pain and trouble!

  4. oragel - you dont take it but it sorta numbs the tooth/gum and you don't feel anything. it's sorta like what they put on your tooth/toungue before they stick you when you get a filling. dont worry it doesn't hurt but it makes the pain go away

  5. Motrin works for me and I also rinse with warm salt water.

  6. Nothing is going to last long, but somethings can help until you get to the dentist. Go to your local pharmacy type store and purchase a small bottle of Clove Oil. Apply it with a Q-tip to just the tooth that acts. It will control the pain. Repeat as necessary. It contains an anesthetic compound that eases the pain. I have used all of the other over the counter tooth pain relievers and none work as well.

  7. I know this old school but go to the kitchen and put some vanilla extract on a cotton ball.  Put it on the tooth.  This should get you through until you get to a dentist.  Just used this on my granson last night.

  8. Clove oil:Is great to use for toothaches. Apply a little on the affected tooth for some time and then rinse with warm water. Boil 5 grams of fresh peppermint in 1 cup water with a little salt. And rinse mouth well with this .Peppermint is an antiseptic and contains menthol which relives pain .Try out http://useinfo-dentalcare.blogspot.com/  for more details.
