  1. If you have an anti fouling paint, use a piece of carpeting if you are having algae build up.  If you have bare aluminum, use a scrubby pad, the plastic kind that you might use to scour out a stubborn pot.

If the boat is in salt water, with shell life attached, wear gloves and attack with a metal putty knife.  Do not allow the shell left to cut you, they can be as sharp as razors.

  2. Toon Brite

  3. you can try something called alum-a-brite, it is a acid, also you can use the acid they use for cleaning air conditioning coils, this stuff is made to sray on and give a little set time and then wash off, on the bottle it will say to dilute with water but i always use it straight, but you must wear gloves and eye protection because this stuff is a acid and if you get it anywhere on you it is going to sting and burn like h**l, but when you apply this stuff, it will foam up like you just put peroxide on a cut, let set for couple of minutes and then rinse off with water.if you think you might need to scrubb on it, it will be ok ,but keep in mind if you are looking for that shine then srubbing might be a bad idea, this stuff is made to clean more than to shine so, for what it`s worth i hope this gives you a sense of direction anyway

  4. painted or aluminum?
