  1. Use white spackling putty.  You can find this in walmart paint isle.

  2. Joint compound is ideal, but spackle (also called spackling compound) works fine and is more readily available in small quantities. You'll need a putty knife to apply it--here's how:

FYI the number of layers you need to apply depends on the size of the hole. Sometimes you can get away with a single layer. But spackle shrinks slightly so the first layer sometimes leaves a small dimple when it dries. You fill the dimple with another bit of spackle. Sand the repair lightly and paint it.

  3. Go buy a can of spackling compound (its cheap) fill and paint.

  4. Cornice plaster.Comes in powder form and it's cheap.Doesn't shrink like spackle.

  5. I have used toothpaste (white) in the past.  It worked out great!

  6. I would get painters putty or painters caulk. It is very light product that works well with your finger and dries fast.

  7. get some spackle. can buy it at any store, fred meyers, or any hardware store.

  8. spackle will work well.   if the holes are small enough, like less that 1/4 inch in diameter, white caulk will work as well.
