What can i use to get a clean sound when i record ? should i get pro tools mbox or what is a good item to use?

what can i use to get good vocals in my recordings a better mic. a better interface or what ? i want it to sound proffecional

A good mic is essential.  The software you use should have a format that is considered 'lossless'.  Don't use MP3 as it has heavy compression and isn't lossless.  Use something that is at least equal to CD quality, which is sampled at 44.1 kHz.
