What can i use to get rid of my red nose?

I have a terrible cold, and the bottom of my nose is all red and dry from blowing it. Are there any good/specific creams I can use to get rid of it that are inexpensive? Will Vasiline work? I need to to go away by Tuesday, because school is starting, and I don't want to go back looking like a clown!

I always use vaseline and it works for me.  Try to get some tissues with balm in as well as they will help.

I use Neosporin and I use tissues with lotion, they keep your nose from getting so red. Neosporin is a medication for healing, vasoline may help but I would choose Neosporin. It should be better by Tuesday but use tissues with lotion and don't use the anti-bacterial ones, they may just keep irritating it.
