What can i use to glue wood with rubber or cloth???will epoxy work?

I need a strong glue !!!! real strong . . . will epoxy or chemoprene do the job. . . it also has to be water resistant

  1. Use contact (rubber) cement.

    Cut the pieces you want to glue together. Make sure they are the correct size and orientation.

    Apply the contact cement to both side. Allow it to dry for about 10 minutes. Then, very carefully, align and touch both items together. Smooth out and you are done. The dry contact cement will instantly weld both pieces together.
