  1. put a little bit of pepper they don't like the smell they can smell it a mile off so don't worry about them sniffing it and sneezing they are not that daft but it does work i did it

  2. Use a baking soda and warm water solution: soak the areas with it including the walls and baseboard areas.....that should neutralize the odor and hopefully keep him away from there...he's probably marking his territory and there was probably a cat in the flat before him making it all the more important for him to do so...thank you for having him neutered! You could also get a second litter box to put in one of those areas (the one he has peed in the most..) Just keep soaking those areas repeatedly for a couple of weeks...dry them with a towel after....let it really soak into any carpeted areas that he's used.....

  3. I tried a lot of things when my cat did this.

What worked was I rubbed a lemon on the wall where he pee'd.

It works great as a natural repellent. No more pee on the walls now!

  4. Get a rubber snake, (that is a good replica) put it in the corner, they are afraid of snakes, but that could be really mean though.

  5. i don't know pepper is kinda harsh it's what my mum used outside for stray cats, what i do when i move in to a new house/apartment is i put the litter box in the room its going to be in later put food and water on the same room and close all doors with the cat inside (this is at night before going to sleep) leave it in ther for one full night and in the morning open the doors after this your cat will allways know where the litter box is and to only pee in there i can't explane it but it allways works for me

  6. Cats dislike citrus scents. Buy some orange or lemon oil to spread on the hardwood floor corner, or if carpet try a citrus scented carpet powder you can sprinkle in the corners.

  7. Use a few large bags of filler to fill in and round off the corners, making all your rooms circular.

    No corners - problem solved.
