In september for 6 months every sunday i am going to do three hours voluntary work in a hospital. I am goin to work extremely hard in a levels, but what else can increase my chance. i know i got a c in english language but does that matter alot.

please help

  1. Voluntary work in hospital is a good idea on two counts.

    Firstly it will give you a feel for hospital life and secondly it will confirm your choice of career.

    Besides doing the voluntary work concentrate on A-Levels and keep your dream alive. Read as much as you can about current medical politics and what is happening to medical student s and Junior Doctors.Medicine is a tough course and an even tougher career.

  2. I don't know how the school system works there, but if you improve your skilss in Biology, Chemisty and Physics then you shouldn't have any problems in going to medicine.

  3. You just need four A levels, and you'll have to do well in the entry tests they've now introduced.
