  1. Hi

Well first of all someone before me said carrots, they should only be fed as treats and not a main part of their diet. You should be giving them a handful of pellets every morning and night. They should have a cup of veg in the middle of the day too. They probably never had veg before so introduce them to one different veg everyday. They should have hay all the time as 95% of their diet should be hay, either meadow or timothy, alfalfa is too much.

Try and avoid the treats sold in stores. Healthy treats are raisins, apples, oranges, bananas and mango. Fruit has too much sugar for rabbits but they love it so it should only be fed a small portion from your hand everyday.

I also give mine a salad bowl of grass, dandelions, dock leaves and clovers. Vegetables they can have is romaine lettuce, carrots(treat), celery, cucumber. They would be the main ones. Hope I helped!

  2. In the wild, there wouldnt be alot there mum wouldnt feed them. They would be eating some fruit and veg and grass, hay but you can supplement them with bunny mix.

  3. Rabbits should really only be on grass and hay - pellets make them fat and they don't eat much veg naturally - maybe a few leaves. They need a diet that's 90% hay for the sake of their digestion and dental health - the most common health upsets in rabbits.

Since these bunnies are very young, probably a good idea to feed them small amounts of rabbit pellets until they're bigger. Small amounts, like a spoonful a day each.

  4. If you have only just picked them up, then it's best to keep them on their rabbit mix for about a week while they're settling in. They should also have a good handful of hay everyday.

When they're settled in you can introduce some rabbit treats and some fruit and veg to accompany their regular food and hay. start off with a little bit of white cabbage, a little bit of carrot and some brocolli. See how they go with that and then you can introduce some other small amounts of fruit and veg.
