What can love be/mean? does it truely exist?

can love be everything everyone says it is? can it ever be as magical as people think, or is it just that one moment your in love? can you be in love with one person forever and ever but just move on with someone else, but never feel the same for that person as you do/did for the other? is love actually anything? or is it just a made up feeling for when you feel a strong bond with someone else you are not related to? or, has no one actually felt love before? i love you is a loosely used phrase, but does anyone actually know what it truely means? when your in love, do you know?

most of what people call "love" is just emotional dependence on another human being. But true love is to let someone be and to understand that they are part of the whole. The ROMANTIC "love" is just an infatuation, the PARENTAL LOVE is the closest thing to what LOVE is supposed to be, but often it is misguided, I think when  you truly love someone you have their best interest at heart it is NOT SELFISH like the so-called "love" a MAN feels for a Woman.......etc....So Scientists will say it is just an evolutionary device. But John Nash who was a GENIUS found it to be one of life's greatest mysteries.........Nobody KNOWS really.

True love is forever. Being married for  42 years and knowing my husband since I was 15 I can assure you there is true love.  Love has nothing to do with self.  It is not to make you happy but to make the other happy. The problem with most today is they want to feel  passion and lust  that is not love.  Love is there in good times and bad and happy and sad.  It exists today  as it  did  from the beginning in the garden of Eden  just as sure as evil does.  When we make a vow to God in marriage we promise to remain with that person until death.   That is love the  best kind the kind you give to God.

Love, to some is a wonderful feeling of acceptance and mutual understanding. But love to some is a fearful thing that has cheated and betrayed and left behind a burning mess of hate, aggrivation and exceptional upset.  

Love is, and forever will be. For although we may cripple and fall ill, we'll always have love.
