Let them hang out outside and listen to music.  They'll do their own thing.  If you keep a hose or water guns out, they'll have fun.  When it gets dark, let them play manhunt.  When they come inside, let them watch movies, do whatever.

early teens really love their new found freedom that they are starting to get...I wouldn't plan anything but I would have plenty of food and maybe some movies and some makeup....mainly girls of that age will keep themselves entertained and will like it even more if you just let em have fun

When I was that age my friends and I had plenty of fun making our own trouble. We always got a movie for when we were starting to settle down, but we did all sorts of things. I remember playing with a tape recorder and doing weird interviews with each other. We'd take lots of pictures. We'd have a good snack. At that age we never really were at a loss of things to do, although not much was planned.

for me, we watched scary movies and everyone would gather together and parents would be like... wth? and play on computer. card games. hide and seek. but when i have a sleepover at my house. i made cardboard guns for my friends and we played a game called guns. not GUNZ from the internet lol. honest game though. if you lie that you didnt get shot. the game wont be fun
