Female, 5'3, like 190lbs.

I got married at 15 and after that I put a lot of weight on. I know, its a lot when I left with my husband

i weighted between 140-150lbs. not to skinny not to fat. But it's kinda hard for me to loose weight. I want to see what my doctor can do for me like put me on some type of diet that is not bad for me. I've tried herbalife and other things but the weight seems to come back the double. I want to be healthy. I am not obsessed with being skinny either I just want to be normal size. I don't want to be scary skinny just my normal weight. I am going to visit my doctor tomorrow and explain this all to him. I just wanted to know if he can help me with a diet. thanks,

  1. well I thin that you should just eat healthy and exercise.

  2. You are right, 5'3" and 190 lbs. is too heavy.  Good for you for going to your doctor for help.  Ask your doctor for a referral to a dietician to make a plan for a sensible diet.

Here is a link to a body mass indicator calculator.  You put your age, weight and height in, and it tells you how you compare to other women your age and height.

You need to get half an hour of exercise five days a week where your heart rate goes up.  Try walking, or Curves for Women.

Good luck.  You have a good attitude and you will succeed.

  3. Seriously?

Do you think people on Y!A can give you a better answer than your doctor?

Can a doctor help you with a diet? Hmmmmmmmmm, what do you think?
