This is really getting out of hand. I need to know if there's anything she can do. I heard changing your diet can maybe help...

  1. It could be anxiety attacks if they're bad dreams?

But I also heard diet can effect your sleep. I was told no dairy products before bed as it curdles in your stomach. Not sure how true or scientific it is but it's a start a suppose.

  2. Diet aside, this could be emotional.

Maybe she has some issues going on that is constantly on her mind that she has not opened up about.

Have you two talked about the dreams yet? Get her to start talking about what the dreams are. Don't judge the dream, but just let her talk. Find out if the dream in anyway relates to recent events in her life. The dreams may go away once she lets go of the anxieties of having another bad dream.

  3. I agree with Wild Bloom, but would add the following advice.  Tell your girlfriend to try this:

In darkness and silence, lie in bed and close your eyes.  Picture yourself in a room with a door.  There is a box in the middle of the room.  Place your stressers - people and things - into the box.  Close the box and lock the lid.  Walk away from the box, open the door and walk into whatever scene you feel would be beautiful and serene.  Spend time relaxing in "your happy place".

If she is able to fall asleep in her "happy place" she may eliminate the nightmares.  I know the whole thing sounds weird to alot of people, but it works!

  4. Yeah, that can help. But sometimes the dream can mean something, so maybe you should try to find out if something bad is going to happen. I normally don't believe in stuff like that, but anything is a possibility. Sorry if none of this happens.

  5. You must leave !
