  1. What a wacko, she's not lactating at 9 weeks...sheesh. Anyhow, have you ever seen those beanbag looking things filled with herbs that you can either heat up or get really cold in the freezer? I have three of those and I use them for EVERYTHING! If I knew how to post links in answers I'd do that but I don't so search for "herbal heat packs" and buy one STAT! It will also be helpful when she DOES give birth and her milk is coming in, they recommend hot showers or heat to get the milk going. In the meantime Tylenol should be fine but it wouldn't be ideal for her to take that everyday so I REALLY think that heat pack is a GREAT idea....no I don't work for a heat pack company, it sounds like I market for them but I just really swear by them.

  2. well, shes only 9 weeks, so most likely she isn't producing milk yet, since milk doesn't come in until after the baby is born..its a common pregnancy thing almost every woman goes thru, its normal, and just wear a good support bra...and tell her to be careful not to brush them against anything,...

  3. I took Tylenol (most doctors approve that it's safe to take while pregnant, but check with yours, just in case). And DON'T get a breast pump...it's too early for that!!

  4. ask pill from doctor, this is the only way.

  5. Not much unfortunately. Try some paracetamol, but that's about it.

The pain and tenderness will subside in a few weeks though. It's at it worst in the early stages of pregnancy.

And DON'T get a breast pump. She's definately not lactating yet or engorged. It's just an early pregnancy thing, almost every woman gets this pain. Her body is just preparing it's self.

  6. She's probably lactating. Get a breast pump and, well, you basically milk her with that. Her b*****s are probably engorged with milk.

  7. I am pregnant and have a child already. DO NOT USE a breast pump or get OTC remedies, your baby isn't born yet. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do, but try drinking ginger beer and if it doesn't help take some paracetemol if it's really sore or nipple cream, alternatively speak to a medical professional, do not take any chances with your wife or unborn baby's health as there are so many things that babies are sensitive to

  8. I would suggest she get in a hot shower and gradually increase the heat as high as can be tolerated. Then take a wash cloth and put it over her b*****s ( this will more evenly distribute the heat.) Stay under the direct water spray until she experiences relief. Also, there are some OTC drugs that pregnant women can take. Contact her doctor and see what type is best for her. Also, ( I know this sounds crazy) a paste made from chilli powder or cayenne pepper applied to her b*****s could also reduce some of the pain. It stings a bit at first, but the heat from the paste should draw out some of the soreness.

  9. tylenol is safe during pregnancy, and massaging them might help too!

  10. I would suggest massaging her breast tissue gently or going to see her physician for an actual treatment.
