Pollution can cause lots of damage to us in direct contact and second-hand contact. One way pollution affects us is that we inhale pollution, which is bad for our health. It also harms other living creatures and this is why some animals are extinct today. The number one drastic effect of pollution is that it is one of the major causes of global warming. This means that day by day, pollution makes the ozone layer gets thinner and thinner. Once the ozone layer is no more, then the polar ice caps will melt, the Earth will be flooded, and everybody will die, unless we find some way to protect the ozone layer or move to another planet. This is sad, but true in the future.

im glad you are concerned! well, pollution may not directly always hurt us but it can hurt other life forms which are our life lines. but in some countries water pollution is a big problem and everyone gets dysentary
