  1. Corn oil is a so-called vegetable oil.  If the bottle says "vegetable oil," it is probably soy bean oil.  So your question would be better if it were more accurate and specific.  E.g., when a potato is fried, will it absorb more corn, soy, sunflower, safflower, or canola oil?
