What can read read these dvd files?

I ripped some dvds to my computer and i want to be able to watch them but they are in weird file types like IFO and BUP. Is there any free program out there that can read these?

Please dont give me links to free trials i would like something that contiues to work

  1. Well, its not very good, but InterActual player is free and will play files ripped from DVDs, download is free, playing is free, and upgrades are free. This is the link to version 1.8, but the newest version is 2.0, so download the updates when you install it.

  2. huh? those are DVD information files.

    IFO is a DVD information file that stores stuff like chapters, subtitles, and audio tracks

    BUP (back up) is the filename extension of some files stored on video DVDs . It's a file backup of IFO.

    Those files are not responsible for playin' the content of movie.

    I don't know how you ripped your DVDs, but try to look for the AVI, Mpeg ,or VOB files.

    Go here and download VLC player, it's free and open-source. it pretty much plays any files.
