What can the side effects if takeing suboxone and adipex?

i have a friend that is on suboxone and also take adipex will these two drugs counter act each other?

You should not be on Adipex and suboxone together. Adipex is an addicting drug in the amphetamine family. Suboxone is used to treat opioid withdrawal, so seeing as how the patient already has an addiction issue, use of Adipex (phentermine) is not suggested.  There are no direct interactions just a waste of money to kick one habit for another.
