i am 45 years old and i look it, yet the lady at the gas station carded me and i live across the street so i didnt have it so i got mad and cussed her out and she said she was calling the cops what can the police possibly do?? i didnt lay a hand on her by the way i just cussed her out.

yet while i was arguing with her she doesnt even card the next two people who looked a lot younger than myself

while i appreciate that you took offence to being carded. by 'cussing' her out you are strictly speaking being disorderly (or as it is in QLD Australia ... causing a public nuisance offence). sorry man.

yea u could prob get it for verbal abuse and disturbing the peace if she says so....sucks dude u should have just ran across and got it cuz this could be like fine-able. but they cant do anything serious

You cussing her out is causing a disturbance.  You could, if you gave the police a hard time, be arrested for disorderly conduct.

When I worked at a gas station ten years ago we were told to card everyone, regardless of age.  If we were caught not carding we would have been fired.  

So much easier to prove you are old enough to give yourself cancer.

Why not smile and show her your identification.  Take it as a compliment and remember tomorrow is a new day.  When carding people they are just doing there job I know many places send out sting operations on carding.  With that being said many places also fire employees if they are caught selling illegally to minors.  Many also end up in jail.  Smile thank them and leave I love being carded.  *grins*

Possibly they can do, you have to follow the law and you are already 45 years old.
