  1. It depends on what country you are boarding the plane in.  I will assume you are from the UK, since you said "on holiday" and not "on vacation".

So, the UK will have rules that you will have to follow on your outbound trip, and Egypt will have (likely slightly different) rules you must follow on your return journey.  I'm sure each of these countries will have websites detailing what is forbidden.  Anything not listed is therefore allowed.

  2. If leaving from the UK: One clear bag provided by security staff containing gels, liquids, pastes etc., in small containers not more than 100ml. If over this amount it will be taken from you and destroyed.

So remember, nothing more than 100ml. Anything over that MUST go into the checked in baggage for the hold.

  3. This is a very open ended question :) but....

The best way is to call your airlines but these days they are allowing liquids if in small quantity.

Everyone is allowing laptops and electronic items these days again. They didn't allow this a few months back.

  4. Whatever your little heart desires.

  5. No water or liquids of any kind.  Toiletries in a quart sized plastic bag.  That means like five small items:  toothbrush, toothpaste....... You can take a laptop computer, books, a camera, anything except scissors, blades.....   Do a search on Google for something official in writing.

  6. Liquids

Some liquids (e.g. gels, lotions, pastes, liquid cosmetics, foams and foodstuffs) are now allowed through airport security check points. There are the following restrictions on the quantity of liquids:

Liquids may only be carried within separate containers each of which with a capacity not greater than 100ml.

These containers must be brought to the airport contained in a single, transparent, re-sealable plastic bag, which itself must not exceed 1 litre in capacity (approximately 20cms x 20cms). The contents of the plastic bag must fit comfortably and the bag must be sealed.

Each passenger may carry only one such bag of liquids. The bag must be presented for examination.

Liquids that can not be placed inside the re-sealable bag must be packed into the hold luggage and checked in. Liquids of any amount can still be carried in luggage checked into the aircraft hold.

    Please note 'Liquids' include:

All drinks, including water, soup, syrups

Creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, mascara etc

Sprays and pressurized containers including shaving foam and spray deodorants

    Pastes, including toothpastes

Gels, including hair and shower gel

Any other solutions and items of similar consistency

    Medicines

Essential medicines and baby food may be permitted in larger quantities above the 100ml limit, but will be subject to authentication.

  7. the liquids, gels should not exceed 3ml. and these should be packed in a quart sized transparent plastic bag for easy inspection. dont fret your allowed to bring electronics. for everything else please call your airline
