  1. There are several ways to contribute :

    1.Save energy

2.Change the common bullets of your home to Pthorium ones. Only 10 % of common bullets is used to produce light, the other one becomes heat

3.Donate money to Greenpeace,WWF or other organizations.

4.If you have a child plant every his/her birthday plant a tree. You "donate" oxygen by that

5.Take part in campains in your country or town (clearing the seasides from rubbish etc.)

6.Install a photobolt system. You can ssave up to 1500 KWh every year

    7. Switch completly off the TV by the putton on it and not on the remote control, do it for the other electric "machines".

    8. Buy biological products

    and think positive

    ;)

  2. donate money to places that support energy from natural resources...we have bonnevile dam here in oregon that makes energy from water movement.

  3. A lot, each and every person should contribute to save our environment.

I close all electrical appliances, bulbs etc., when I go out of my room - I save Electricity.

I do close all taps, seal all leaks immediatly - I save water.

I try to use a community vehicle instead of own car - I save fuel.

I try to re use paper - I save trees.

I do not use plastic / polythin bags.

I prefer to walk small distances instead of using vehicle - I save fuel.

I plant a tree on every birthday.

    I use only organic food.

I use compost and organic pest control for my farm.

So I try my best to do what I can.

  4. Personally, I drive a flexfuel vehicle that uses E-85 ethanol, which is supposed to produce less greenhouse gasses than a traditional gasoline engine.  My family recycles all paper, cardboard, glass, steel, aluminum, plastics #1 and #2, that come through our house. Plus we compost organic material.  Our family of four only produces 1 white kitchen bag of trash per week. We also installed a programmable thermostat to reduce wasted energy when we aren't at home.  And the biggest thing of all, we have taught our children how important it is to cherish our planet, and to take the best care of it they can.

  5. When you buy a car, get a hybrid, or better, an electric. Don't use electricity as much! (Like if you have a house and you are only in one room, I don't think the whole house needs to be lit!) Walk instead of drive! Buy more biodegradable stuff and when you buy stuff that has plastic covering or some sort of plastic, check to see if it has a recyclable sign on it (try to buy more of those). Also RECYCLE! (of course not only sorting the stuff (cell phones, eye glasses, clothing -->donate!) and plastics, paper, glass, steel) and if you live in a little town or city, make sure that your city actually recycles! because some cities just send their recyclables down to the incinerator like their trash. Also, buy recycled things, like recycled paper (there's nothing wrong with it being just a little bit pricier), and other recycled items. People don't really recycle unless they actually use recycled items (like if everyone sorted, and there was a TON of recycled items in excess because everyone STILL bought new items...it would be no use to recycle....so it's very important to buy recycled items! And last but not least, participate in your communites green activities...if your community doesn't have any, then you can make some! like cleaning up the litter and planting trees or something. Also, try to buy more things that are not factory made (because the factory is where all that carbon dioxide is coming from...). Last but not least, donate some money to those environmental organizations (and make sure they are actually doing something with your money, because some organizations just swindle you out of your money!).

  6. use less electricity at home, walk more and recycle bags, clothes, ..you can grow your own veggies...pretty much anything makes a difference in teh long term, which is what got us to where we are now
