I read in a magazine that you get acne from exercising in tight close and then like not taking showers after exercising, or something like that,

And first of all:

I don't really exercise, except for at school.

I dont sweat..

And I take showers everyday. (well okay, sometimes I dont take showers on Saturdays =P)

But I still don't get why I get acne on my back and shoulders. And I don't even get ONE pimple in my face. Well I do, sometimes But not a lot and they go away fast.

But the acne in my back is just horrible. I hate it. =[

How do i get rid of it??

Any products that have worked for you?

Any methods?

Anything?

Just help me ok?

  1. Get Differin prescribed to чou bч чour Doctor, It works wonders on acne, on чour face, shoulders, chest, back .. it's for anчwhere! You will, for certain .. see a difference over a couple of daчs .. it will drч чour skin out, but just moisterise and it's fine.

    (:

  2. Okay, from personal experience, I have learned that Pro - active works really well. But the only thing is, you have to keep using it or your breakouts get a little worse. It's $20 a set and one set lasts quite a while. Watch TV and you should eventually run into the commercial. Call it in and order some. If you do that, you're pretty much acne free for a while.. just make sure you follow the directions. And if you break out or suffer any rashes then stop use immediately.

  3. this may sound hoaky but many dermatologists use a sun lamp to cause a mild sunburn on that part of the body.  you could skip the doctor call and either lay around in the sun at home, or work out a 2-day per week trip to the local tanning salon for a 20 minute session each time.

This is what worked best for me.

If you have a friend that is willing to work on your back using benzol peroxide or other acne treatment, great. or maybe you have medical insurance that will allow a skin doctor to give you weekly treatments.

Or, if you live close to a beach, get a boogie board and enjoy a few rides while exposing your back to salt water and uv rays.

acne seems to be most prevalent on the neck and back as the skin is thinner and the oil glands plug up easier due to inaccessibility to reach or wipe those areas.  as the pores plug up, surface bacteria gets in and create the pus and inflammation, resulting in a pimple or cyst.  many treatments at the doctor involves the use of tetracycline or other antibiotics to control the bacteria.  Solodyn for some, retinol-a for others, or accutane (related to retinol-A)

  4. try swimming in a salt water pool or going to the beach and pouring the salt water onto ur shoulders...they will dry up in no time...it always works for me...they disappear in 2 days tops!...good luck!
