What can u substitute white wine for in shrimp pasta?

  1. If you don't have a white wine, don't substitute it with any other ingredient , believe me it is nice the same. Other things will alter it.


  2. Try white grape juice or add some virgin olive oil to it. I have done both and it turned out great..

  3. water, fish/shrimp broth/stock, if you have a pack of ramen around you could mix it with the correct amount of water and use that for the white wine, you could use water, but less because you wont get the flavor and you just want to get the bits off the bottom of the pan

  4. add some butter wine is needed to make the suace but more butter wil give you a sauce mayeb add a few drops of pasta water to it to

  5. try a nice cider vinegar, NOT TO MUCH though, or a few drops of Balsamic in a good fish stock, and throw a big handfull of frozen peas in for more flavour,mmmmm,,, YUMMY !!!

  6. Vinegar. Something flavorful, Balsamic for example.
