  1. Real, mostly caused by us.

Some gases ("greenhouse gases") let sunlight in, which warms the Earth, and then block that heat from leaving. That's the "greenhouse effect", and it's a natural thing, mostly caused by water vapor.

Man is making excessive amounts of greenhouse gases, mostly by burning fossil fuels. That causes the delicate natural balance to go out of whack and the Earth warms. That's global warming.

It won't be a Hollywood movie style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.

Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.

Really good website for more information here:

Lots of numerical scientific data proving it real here:

Proof that most scientists think it's real and mostly caused by us here:

  2. Global Warming is a lie, propagated by Gore. His movie was a complete lie.

  3. download a movie called"inconvenient truth"

it is all abt global warming.

    dont miss it.

it may be available in the stores.

  4. it is real. it is not caused by humans. it is a part of the earth's natural cycles.

  5. the rise in the temperature of the earth is called global warming. the average global temperature increases due to the greenhouse effect

  6. uh...its hot.

  7. Environment is everything around us. We must NOT forget that we too are part of the environment.

Global warming is a real threat for the whole world. It is the raise in the average Earth surface temperature over a period of time and at the same extent it brings a  certain instability of the greenhouse effect.

To help to decrease global warming,

    >There should be sustainable living

    >Sensitisation campaigns

    >Ecological schools

    >Plant more trees

    >Use of low ultra emission car

    >Use of thr 3R's that is reduce, reuse and recycle

    >Use of energy saving bulbs

    >Ban CFC's

    >Have a kitchen garden

    >Walk to do local errands instead of using your car

U should protect the environment from the grassroot level...

“Everyone around the world can make a difference….

because when it comes to protect our planet Earth,

    every ACTION counts.”

"The only way to prevent our already ill planet

from dying is to get people conscious

of their consumption patterns and be

provided an alternative way of going

                                   on with their usual life"

    BUT

Global warming is only a component, in a group of destructive forces at work such as ;deforestation, desertification, soil and water contamination ,irresponsible or wasteful utilization of bio resources , air pollution,Non sustainable Agriculture, over pumping carbon aquifers

all concepts which are definitely not part of the Natural Processes of the Natural world

    WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR,

The most prolific growth on this planet is part of the day in the mist and most of the time under clouds ,and the least growth is always directly in the sun .

To exchange the one for the other means changing local climates

We are exchanging Nature with Tar , concrete and open spaced mono cultures.

In 300 years half of the planets forests have gone ,and in the last 50 years half of the wet lands ,and rain forests

These Areas absorb heat during the day and release heat at night ,

Cause cloud formation(shade).humidifying the air on the surface as well as releasing excess water at the roots that keep rivers flowing ,which in turn brings more water into the Environment .

As well as contributing to absorbing carbon emissions as do the leaves of the trees together with the oceans .

All in all many factors which directly affect the local Environment .

The loss of the above resulting in rivers drying up ,less rain ,desertification, loss of habitat for many species and so on.

dryer and hotter surface environments which can manifest in different weather patterns such as tornadoes or bush fires

I may be stupid or Naive but somehow i believe that lots of these local environmental changes, can add up to affect global weather, If there are enough of them (and there are)

And then on top of that comes the story of the effects of pollutants released into Nature and especially the Air ,by MANhttp://earthissues.multiply.com/photos/a...

A cocktail of events and a lot of the ingredients have MAN written all over them

So it is safe to assume that we should look at ourselves ,for possible improvements ,and rectifying Eco errors that are with in our powers.

    What is a safer bet

to be or not to be

  10. Hi!

    Just check these links

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warm...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attribution...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effects_of_...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenhouse_...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_cha...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenhouse_...

    In simple sentences,

It is caused by emissions or C20.

These emissions thins the ozone layer and since making the glacier process less and leaving some bodies of water that should be glaciers by now therefore making the sea water in high levels and again reducing some lands of islands and countries due to high water levels.

Actually the result of this is now here, for example the rising of rice prices, fossil fuels may be limted by now that's why it's rising and because of high prices of fossil fuels also electricity will rise since it needs fossil fuels and now people need to make electricity in natural process like solar energy and if elec. rises now we consumers complain and if we complain the politics will fight like nothing!

    in simple words

^Fossil Fuels prices -> ^high elec. prices -> Consumer's complain -> Politics fight like cats and dogs.

Also it may result like this

^Pop. of the world -> Less land for cultivation -> ^prices of rice will rise -> consumers complain -> Politics fight! = No Peace in the world and loe classed people will starve.

  11. There are many good, reputable sites on this subject and the greater issue of global climate change.

Check out a few of the links below and you'll have way more than you need.

    Good luck with the project.

  12. That is makes millions of dollars and if you look back over 100 years ago you will see worst storms and devastation than today but no mention of Global Warming.

  13. Here is one of the best and most complete research papers out on the internet.  Done by a very bright High School student.

    http://home.earthlink.net/~ponderthemaun...

The entire basis for the 'Global Warming Theory' = When CO2 increases the temperatures will also rise.  However when the last 10 years of global temperatures are flat or falling while CO2 keeps rising = the 'Theory' has completely Failed.

Now the Alarmists are rationalizing with 1000s of pages of meaningless rhetoric.  But believe whatever you want, a belief is NOT reality.
