  1. What kind of vegan did you go for?  Lacto?  Ovo?  Lacto-ovo?  Or just all-out?  Nothing that is made with any kind of animal products.  Yes, gelatin is one.  No leather shoes or purses (vegans don't stop at food, girlfriend), no fur of any kind, no silk (silkworms), no dairy of any kind, no meats.  It's a hard life to follow, but there is a ton of stuff on the 'net for you to research.  Recipes and all.  I have been on a lacto-vegan thing and lost lots of weight really fast, and I'm 52.  I cut out egg yolks, but not whites.  I eat white turkey and chicken and fish ONLY.

  2. jello (of any kind or any kind of gelatin product)

    beef

    pork

    chicken

    duck

    quail

    pheasant

    snake

    squab

    turkey

    milk

    eggs

    cheese

    cream (any form  of, btw)

seafood (none of any kind) except seaweed as it's a plant

    bugs (of any kind)

true vegans do not eat any kind of animal product or product derived from any kind of animal or seafood ingredients.

That's right, no bean & cheese burrito's for you, just bean burrito's (oh & make sure the tortilla's are made free of animal fat IE no lard). This diet really sucks, in my opinion. In moderation I'm sure it's fine but there have been way too many documented cases of malnutrition due to veganism in my life time to warrant suggesting as a full time lifestyle.

  3. Vegans endeavor not to use or consume animal products of any kind.[3] The most common reasons for becoming a vegan are ethical commitment or moral convictions concerning animal rights, the environment, human health, and spiritual or religious concerns.[4][5][2] Of particular concern are the practices involved in factory farming and animal testing, and the intensive use of land and other resources required for animal farming.

  4. Well my bestie is vegan so I know these things...No gummy worms or anything with gelatin...pudding,jelly anything gummy...They have crushed animal bones....Um Beans I know have lard which comes from animal fat...Eggs,Milk,butter....Etc.Hope that helps. You can also search on Peta to find out thinks that have animal stuffs to.

  5. A vegan does not eat or wear anything that came from an animal in any way.

No meat, poultry, fish or sea food.  They also don't eat any dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurts etc), eggs or honey.

Remember to look out for hidden ingredients such as gelatine, shellac, cochineal and various 'e' numbers (best do a web search on this).

Clothing wise, no leather, suede, fur, silk or wool.

    Hope this helps!
