What can we as Patriotic Americans do to end governmental corruption?

It's obvious to any honest citizen who has dealt with the American Government on any level that both of the major political parties are infested with corruption, and that corrupt officials determine the kinds of people that are accepted into goverment jobs of all levels, from Federal Judges to Military Leadership to the Local Police Forces. The latest news reports show that those within the government who try to report such corruption have their lives ruined by those in power:

What can "We The People" do to stop corruption when the corrupt political parties have made it nearly impossible to elect anyone outside of the two corrupt politcal parties that are currently in power - the Democrats and the Republicans?

  1. Support Ron Paul

  2. I don't remember the words exactly but I think it's called:  Pledging your life*, your trust and your sacred honor.

Without your *willingness to die, the tiger is pretty much in charge of the hen house.  Of course the tiger thinks what he is doing is normal.  Ate the fox long ago.  So wringing hands with what to do questions is not productive; unless you want to rake in contributions from the naive; and the indentured press already has that job.

  3. I've done a ton of research for many years to get the answer to this question. The ROOT cause of corrution throughout history has always been the "Money Masters". Never heard of the term, you should google it. The ones with the power to create money have always been the root of corruption. When the people are the government, our job is to oversee the money masters and keep them in check with a rifle pointed at them, literally. Our founders understood this. We got fat and happy and so lazy, now the money masters control our government. When we the people surround the money masters with our rifles is when we would root out corruption, until we get lazy again.

    Eliminate the Fed

Restore the Constitution of the united States

    Fight for Freedom

    Vote Ron Paul 2008

    OUR ONLY HOPE FOR AMERICA

  4. What scary times we live in. It's hard not to feel helpless when there is so much corruption. It seems that you can't vote for someone with integrity because those individuals don't associate themselves with either corrupt party and if you do vote for them you sacrifice your position in the election.

What can "We The People" do to stop the corruption? We could do a lot. Unfortunately, people who question the government are largely chastised for being unpatriotic, or anti-American. Why? Because we are a Christian nation and religion teaches you to blindly trust your leaders. Don't question things. You will find that the people who support this country's every action are Christians...I'm not saying all, but most.

What is worse than supporting a corrupt government? Not doing what you can to expose and end it. Half of these people should be in prison. They aren't because many of us don't vote, don't care, don't think if we fight we can win, there is no effort to stop it. A good case in point is Clinton who was nearly impeached for sexual indiscretion and a religious president who has ruthlessly and inexcusably ordered the death of thousands without a question of impeachment. Because religious people act.

Can we stop corruption, maybe not but we should try and to me it just doesn't seem like we try hard enough. I know I don't.

  5. it's the system that corrupts the participants.  once you join, you're in (kinda like the mob.)  the only way to change it is revolution.  good luck, man.

  6. The short answer is limit terms of office, better written and more enforcement of conflict of interest laws, requirement of public officials to list all relatives on any government payroll,  more investigative reporters, stricter penalties for violators and the requirement that they can not ever hold office pr work for the government again.

  7. Expose the corruption as much as possible.

  8. Try to find a "real" candidate that isn't a coward and will stand up to the lobbyists and big business "gods".  Someone who won't cower down (or bend over) every time someone with money & power appears in the room.  Someone who speaks without a "forked tongue" and actually keeps his (or her) promises.  Someone who knows what it is like to be an average Joe (or Jane), not someone who had servants to wipe their butt when they grew up.  Someone who can pull the knife out of their own back, without whining about it, and throw it back.  Then having enough people to have the guts to stand beside them, support them, and vote them in.

    But...goodluck with that.

  9. Pray that God will put some real God fearing

    people in office.

  10. I just think anyone(or mostly everyone) gets corrupted by being in such a high powered seat....  Even us who say we will do this for the people, they somehow get corrupted, even just a little....

  11. We would just have to throw almost everybody out of the government and start over again. But that most likely won't happen because there are so many idiots in this country that will keep voting for the crooks. Because they're blind to any wrong doing as long as it's their party. One wacko on this forum said she's going to have "vote Republican" printed on her checks.

  12. I vote third party quite often. Although, seven years of the Bush administration (which is highly corrupt even by Washington standards) has prompted me to vote a straight Democratic ticket next time.

But I'm rather pessimistic about the power of the vote. I honestly think the corruption is too entrenched to be completely removed.
