What can we do about Midnight Sun!?

I heard about midnight sun. I'm so mad. I was so excited to get into edwards head, and really view things from his perspective. Is there anyway we can do a petition, or something!? I don't want her to stop Midnight Sun, these books are my life, and i was looking so forward to reading another book, if you have any idea's please let me know. Thank you.

A thousand signatures is not enough to erase the financial loss due to people stealing her books. People are still asking tonight for free copies of her books.

Well, then you need to get another life first of all.

And there already is a petition. Why don't you guys just pay more attention to Meyer and eventually she'll write it? Or better yet, stop paying attention to it so she can appreciate you guys. That sounds so much better.

Maybe she'll stop punishing you guys then for someone else's mistake.

She didn't say she was never going to publish it, she only said she was going to stop working on it until she can get back into the proper frame of mind. You can't rush writing, or it won't be any good. Writing is emotional; you have to be in the right mood to write.

Just imagine how awful it must be for her! Her most basic rights as an artist--being in control of who sees your work and when--were horribly violated. If someone did something like that to me with one of the novels I'm working on...I would be so furious and upset!

Leave her alone. She'll write it when she feels better. It might be a year or two, but it's worth waiting for. Besides, we have the Host sequels to look forward to as well.

And, no offence, but if these books are truly your "life," it may be better it's not coming out as soon as expected. A lot of people seem to feel the same way you do. I think everyone needs a break from the mania. Relax, reread, and check out some other books!

Bottom line: Miss Stephenie needs a break. Don't bother her with things like petitions...it won't put her back in the mood to write the book. Giver her time. We will be rewarded.

Smeyer will not change her mind, and it would be silly to fill out a petition.  Can you imagine being an author who has just decided not to publish your book, then you receive a petition with 500 signatures saying "OMG we luv twilight you have to publish this book!!!1!"  

Would you listen to that petition?

It is an author's personal choice to stop writing when they desire. I'm sure she is well aware that there would have been a HUGE demand for it. No petition would be likely to change her mind :(

However, there is sure to be fan created fiction out there, perhaps someone other than the author will have written from edward's perspective.

if you wanna read a draft of midnight sun you should go to stepheniemeyer.com all you have to do is click on the link and it will allow you to read 264 pages of the book it might have some errors because it a draft but other wise its good

I understand how you feel, I enjoy the books a lot.  But think about it.  twilight's her baby and she's so mad right now she feels like she should just kill all of the characters off.

I support Stephenie Meyer no matter what she chooses to do about Midnight Sun or any other of her books in the future.

To be honest I don't think she's going to publish anything else.  After the response to Breaking Dawn she was already hesitant to letting go of more of her imagination.  It's because people do c**p like whoever did this.
