The gas prices aren't going down, there are going up and up every year and they aren't leveling in one price.

So what should the average ppl do about this, since the government is with the oil companies getting richer and richer.

  1. Since the average person can't really do anything about the government's decisions all you can really do is just try and drive less, maybe take a bus to work, ride a bike.  Just do anything to be fuel efficient!

Next thing you know, we're gonna be paying for 4 bucks a gallon! UGH! It's so ridiculous!

  2. Cut them off!!!   We gotta say enough is enough man!!  Prices will never drop as long as people keep buying, but at a some point we are better off laying on the couch than paying for gas to go to work

  3. don't support Banks that trade oil stocks( they are all doing it).

Keep bare minimum in checking, savings,IRAs,and pay your payment just right before due date.

That way they won't have cash to gamble on the Oil Stocks.

  4. Start drilling in Alaska and stop depending on foreign oil. compiting with the chinese for oil is what's driving oil prices soo high

  5. If we boycott one oil company for 1 month, it will work because they will have to lower there prices to make room for the inventory coming in, Lets say company A is selling gas and company B is not, then company B will lower there price to beat company A price, then there are price wars between company A and B... Lets just say we try for June 1st for the boycott

  6. I am so glad someone is giving me a forum to speak on this.  There are a few things that can be done without being over the top.  Look, we all need cars and we all need some sort of fuel in our daily lives so CONSERVATION is the key.  Use your feet as often as you can.  Carpool whenever possible.  Keep your heat low and wear sweaters when it's chilly, try a fan instead of AC.  Buy a gas thrifty car (small cars are great, hybrids are $)  Cut back on your hot water useage, grow a vegetable garden, plant shrubs and bushes around your house to insulate it.  There are sooo many other things that can be done, a lot predicated on your financial situation unfortunately, but even for the regular Joe it's a creative mind that can save a lot of $.

  7. I try to organize my errands to where I can do a complete circle. If I was a truck driver I would stop driving but that will hurt our problems worst, but truck drivers are really suffering I really feel sorry for them but I also feel sorry for me, the food, medications have gone up, I was force to go all generic I take 7 different meds and the insurance are in all this mess too. They force you do get generic because they won't cover the brand name or you pay an arm and leg for it. We are at the mercy of the the government, as long as their pockets are lined they don't care.

  8. By An Electric Car

No Matter How Much U Try, U Cant Make Them Go Down

And If U Think About It, For The Gas To Be Dug Out Of The Ground, Purified, Repurified, Packed, Shipped Across Thousands Of Miles, Unloaded, Repurified, Put Into The Machines

And U Only Pay A Couple Of Dollars/Pounds Or Whatever

    Good Price...

  9. I just take it, personally i need a TRUCK with power, not a pissy *** electric car with 3hp to the front wheels. Theres not much else i can do. If i didn't have to depend on my truck to get to and from work and to pull 10K pounds i would get an electric car or a small Geo metro or something.

Unfortiantly for now, im stuck with 12mpg.
