What can we do about this!!?

We have a terrible problem with fruit flies in our kitchen. Theyre all over our food in our cupbord and they drive ... us ..... CRAZY!! What can we do to get rid of them without spending an arm and a leg!??

Last year I had the same problem and posted the question.  The best answer I had was to put some apple cider vinegar on the table in a bowl.  Apparently they are attracted to it and will drown in it.  First and foremost, get rid of the culprit.  Keep your kitchen drains clean and clear and keep fruit and veggies refrigerated.

we had the exact same problem at our lake house! I would take a sweet liquid like cranberry juice or some really sweet juice and let the liquid sit on your table or something. They are attracted to sweet things. I'll come back later and edit some things, because we did sometihng else to get rid of them really fast but i can't remember right now, so hang on. :)

EDIT: my mom said that she set up a glass of wine as well.
