I'd like to do something orginal that doesn't cost a fortune just because it's on NYE. Don't fancy pubs or clubs unless there's more to do than get drunk at them and listen to loud rubbish music...any suggestions?

  1. Trafalgar Square is off this year, nothing there.  The London Eye is the place for free fireworks display immediately after Big Ben chimes midnight if you like that.

Watch from Westminster Bridge or the north bank of the Thames there, across from the Eye.  It is expected that the viewing areas will fill quickly so go early if you want in.  You can also see the display from places in central London if you prefer to be out and about there.

If you do go pub crawling get tickets - they will charge at the door and stop admitting when full.

Have fun - happy new year!

  2. have a party a few fireworks n get pissed

  3. throw a big party-with no alcohol. if you can lol.
