  1. If gas money wouldn't matter a whole lot, one fun thing you could do is go on the internet and find a band or singer that is playing at an outdoor venue neer you (maybe an amphitheater), pack a blanket to lay on, fing the closest spot to the concert area that you can park your car and lay out the blanket.

You can pack a picnic dinner or dessert and just have fun listening to the music from where you are.

If it is late enough, lay back and enjoy the stars that are out.

If a slow song is played, dance with each other.

Don't pay attention to anyone else, this is a time to appreciate each other and your commitment and love for one another.

Do you have the top of your wedding cake saved?

    Eat that together.

Other ideas, go to a local bookstore like Barnes & Nobel or Borders and go to the different sections reading books to one another. Have him read you your favorite fairy tale, you can read him part of his favorite sci-fi.

Go around and read the silly names of the books.

Make a little game out of finding a certain book first- Harry Potter or The Dummies Guide to Marriage!

Describe a trait or quality of your significant other and then go and find a book with a similar title and read the description on the back of it.

You could do just about the same thing in a music store.

Go to the mall or where ever and find CD's with titles that describe particular events in your life together.

Make sure to look at the names of the mushy love songs and dedicate the best ones to each other.

Have fun and don't forget to say how much you love each other.

Good luck and congrats for getting through a year!

  2. make dinner together at home. my hubby and i decided on anniversary #1 that we were not going to buy eachother anniversary presents, since we do gifts for valentines day, birthdays, and christmas. so each year on our anniversary we just get eachother a card and go out to dinner. if you dont want to spend money, you could make him a card, and then just make dinner at home

  3. you could cook dinner naked with each other then eat the wedding cake if you saved the top part like some people do...you could also recreate your first date if it was pizza and a movie make your own pizza and rent whatever movie it was that you saw if you didnt have one made at your wedding you could put some of your wedding pics in a slide show with your wedding song playing in the background you could break out all the wedding cards you recived and reread them with each other you could agree to not do anything besides home made cards or something and then when you have money if possable go do what ever you did on your honey moon of course thats easier said then done if you did something extravagant the first time LOL if its a clear night what about skinny dipping or sitting and cuddling underneth the stars maybe bring out a radio and dance to your wedding song im sure you will come up with something and it will be special because it came from the heart :)

  4. You could make a list of 12 things that you love about the other person, one for every month. I'd say 365, but that's a bit much!

  5. Special candle light dinner at home
