What can we do in Berlin. We're there from April 11 to Easter ?

Looking for good places to eat, good bars to go, and good sightseeing

Buy a tourist guide. If you do not want to spend money, go to the Tourist Office and get information.

I spent four days there...loved it. Obviously the Wall. You can do walking tours which are great. Pergamon Museum a must. Concentration camp outside of Berlin about half hour to north. Canal cruise. Hire an old soviet car and drive around (can't remember the name but that was fun). There is a tourist information place near Zoo Station (in the shopping center across from the station and just past the old bombed out church). Heaps to do. I loved it.

I walked the entire place and saw so much get a tourist map (go to a hostel they have the best maps) you can walk the entire place see the wall there are some great museums around it.  walking is the best because you run into some really great people and you will see more then taking a tour bus.  there are some great places to eat fallow the locals around hostels can give you some really good advise on places to eat and bars. There are bars every where.  I ate as i was walking around the best places are the little hole in the wall places that only have a few tables you really get a taste of local food.  You can find any food you want.  I had sushi at Check Point Charley, there was a Cuban restaurant near the hostel i stayed at, chines food middle eastern, and German food.  Its every where just start asking around.  There is one think that you have to do in Europe you have to try the local beers they change in every region they are so much different than the imports
