  1. use most time cycle and paddle Rickshaw for Travel

  2. Turn off the water when not using

Turn off lights when not in use

    Don't wrinkle paper when recycling

    Throwing away trash

    Eating efficiently

    Managing waste

    Drive less

    Walk more

    Use public transportation

Eat at a lower trophic level

    Etc.

  3. Stop listening to the Gores

  4. This below is from a Canadian Site which is applicable universally.

    1. Get connected

Encourage kids to join a club at school or hook up with online groups like Kids For A Clean Environment and the Environmental Youth Alliance.

    2. Switch it off

Turn off lights, televisions, etc. when not in use. Windows XP can help preserve power, too. Click Start > Control Panel. Make sure the setting is Classic View and click Power Options. Adjust the settings so your computer will automatically power off when not in use for an extended length of time.

Building a working model of a renewable energy source — like a wind turbine or a solar-powered car — is a great way to help kids grasp the concept of energy production and conservation.

    3. Litter less

Lose the paper bag and get a lunch box; you and your child can make a craft of it by finding fun fabric and sewing a lunch bag. Use plastic containers and cups instead of disposable baggies and juice boxes. Search online for tips on packing waste-free lunches.

    4. Don't be a drip

Canadians use about 1,600 cubic metres of water per person per year - twice as much as the average person in France and eight times as much as the average Dane! Conserve water by taking short showers and by turning off the faucet when brushing your teeth and washing dishes.

    5. Recycle everything

Recycle cans, newspapers and more, but think outside the blue box: divert from the landfill by donating, trading or selling old toys or start a clothing exchange.

    6. Make dirt

Compost fruit and vegetable scraps — kids are titillated by the gross look of decomposing matter. Explain how the process turns organic material into soil for the garden and make your own worm composter.

    7. Park it

Walk or take public transit. Cities like Toronto and Chicago have transit routes online; print a map you and your child can follow, decrease pollution and share an adventure.

    8. Salvage the soil

Volunteer with a group that restores green space. Evergreen and D.U.G. plant native vegetation and create gardens, ponds and meadows to rehabilitate urban neighbourhoods.

    9. Walk on the wild side

Observe creatures in the wild using webcams to highlight the importance of animal and habitat conservation. Watch elephants and leopards at a watering hole in Africa or observe the inner workings of an ant colony.

    10. Have fun!

Check out fun facts and activities online. Make saving the planet an enjoyable part of everyday life.

  5. Captain planet?

  6. plant more trees.

  7. Embrace the pleasant warmth?

  8. We have many places in eart where temperature always in minus . so we can divert their minus temperature thru some pipe lines to some warm areas. i have suggested the same in last meeting and all of them appreciated my heart for this new and radical idea.

  9. well here's what i think a person can do:

walk more, this reduces pollution by cars

use air conditioners and refrigerators that do not emit CFCs, which is a gas causing heavy pollution.

  10. If you think that CO2 is a pollutant and its warming the planet, you are badly mistaken. Al Gore speaks of the relation of CO2 increase to warming, and his graph is impressive, but what he does not tell you is the CO2 lags behind global warming by a few hundred years.

In other words, when the earth warms up, the seas retain latent heat that is absorbed over a long time. Then only after a few hundred years, the CO2 content rises. You have been told a convenient lie. This relation is as backwards.

If your assumption is that CO2 is causing it. Then there is nothing that can be done.

  11. Produce less CO2 by:

    - using more fuel efficient cars

    - drive less

    - drive less aggressive (when you accelerate is when you make the most CO2, also going fast and braking is waisting energy that was made in your engine)

    - use less electricity

    - shop only for what you need (any thing you buy has produced some CO2 somehow( delivery, if it's oil base, ...) (yes I know this slows the economy but it is a solution)

    - keep yourself informed about what your government is doing to reduce green house gases.

    - be involved

    - shop from brands which are "green" meaning they care about environment.

  12. What you can do in daily life to fight against Global Warming:

    At Home: Use Less Energy

Home energy accounts for 21 percent of global warming pollution. If we make smart choices, we can cut more pollution than the entire emissions of over 100 countries!

Change a bulb: Better energy-saving lights

    Greener power: Re-thinking home energy

Full list of tips: How to cut pollution at home

    On the Road: Be Efficient

When it comes to global warming, how and what we drive are two of our most powerful choices. Transportation is the biggest source of carbon dioxide emissions, more than factories or homes.

Save fuel: Use less gas with your current car

Choose green: Buy a clean, efficient car

    Neutralize the Rest

Even if you are already driving efficiently and using less electricity, there's more you can do. Buying offsets, or credits, neutralizes what we can't cut.

  17. by giving more concern to our environment especially those who are not so affected by this kind of situation. But according to the people who are affected by it we shall lessen our daily habits like Burning, working in factories and also smokes from vehicles, to be able to lessen the amount of gas that can cause the big opening of the ozone layer

  18. The best way is to be aware of how you are contributing in global warming. When you will come to know, you will find itself that how you can fight globel warming. "recycle the thinks as much you can"

  19. Turn off lights when not required and use low energy light bulbs.

  20. go green

  21. Well the maximum contribution to global warming is from small and big companies which violate all rules manage everything with money..so there has to be a hard law and intervention from concerned authorities. rest like energy saving at house hold level can be looked upon....

  22. walk more

  23. The following acts, which might reduce our over-exploitation of the natural resources, if we practise, might help in mitigating the problem of global warming:-

    1) Try and walk to the extent possible, without using the motor vehicle, which emit carbon-di-oxide, which in turn heats up the atmosphere.

    2) Try and avoid using the life for climbing the up-stairs.

    3)  Eat less and do not eat for enjoyment, but for survival.

    4)  Be frugal; the more you avoid buying for buying sake rather than for actual need, there will less exploitation of the natural resources.

    5) Use manually made produces rather than machine made. The latter tend to over produce and compel and attract you to buy their products ever if there is no need for the product.
