What can we do play together?

Im a 14 year old who babysits a 4 year old boy sometimes. and it seems like he thinks he is a girl he plays barbies but all he wants to do is play hide and seek is there anything i can do to change that any ideas what we can do besides play barbies and hide and seek?

go outside and introduce him to other things like sports or other games let him play with other people and let him do other things so he'll like those things and im sure the barbie thing is just a phase and he'll grow out of it thats how i was wen i was his age and now i love doing other things

It's normal for kids at that age to want to be something they are not.  Just don't make a big deal out of it and he will be fine.

As for what to play and what to do, check out this website.  It gave me good ideas for all 3 of my kids to keep them busy over the summer.

well, i wouldn't tell him that there is anything wrong with playing with barbies (doesn't mean he thinks he is a girl) he is just experimenting i guess. but how about playing outside together throwing a ball around, baseball or football, or make up a game that would seem exciting to him. Young children that age like to use imagination and try new things.

play outside or take him for a walk down the park....don't ask him just do it...he'll get sidetracked easily and realize hes playing outside (give him more options) hes just a little boy who doesn't no how much there is besides barbies and hide n seek...lol good luck
