What can we do to have more effective gun control?

Any opinions about gun control?? What can we do to make it better?? CAN we do anything? How would u improve gun control and stop violence ???

We have too many dumb gun laws as it is plus too little done to violent criminals. The Second Amendment gives us the right to own guns, in case you have not heard.

If someone is angry enough to kill another person, they will use something else to kill them with.

For the sake of argument lets just say...the hammer. A very useful tool that has helped to build the modern world.

Violence is something in and of itself, removing a tool cannot stop violence. That comes from within the individual.

Have you ever heard of the right to bear arms?  Gun control only controls those who follow the 'illegal law' but criminals will have guns irregardless of gun control laws.  Then how do we protect ourselves?

We should identify the groups who are causing the most harm with guns and forbid them from owning them. In other words, if women or Latvians or whomever are committing a disproportionate amount of harm with guns, they can't have them.

Guns have only one use, if they are available they will be used for that purpose.

In terms of how you enforce gun control in the US, too late I fear.....Unless....

You shoot everybody that refuses to disarm......

You must be a O BOMB A supporter, As if he is lucky enough to win, He will try to stop Americans from having guns, so his Muslims are the only ones with guns. then if you want to be safe in your home you better have a gun and plenty of ammunition. The mere fact that Americans are voting for him tells me several are not proud to be Americans.

But, back to the question. To improve the gun law, you would have to make it more lenient. In my opinion anyway.

  Cops are to worried about seat belt laws or they could take more illegal gun off the street. I haven't heard of any donut shops being robbed.

I had better get off my soap box, I just worried about  my rights and country. To many are trying to them both away.
