  1. just plant more and more trees

  2. 1. If you can afford, try to organize and plan an event with your friends for teens and kids or maybe adults to recycle their things or plant trees etc. and to make them aware. TIP: As a group, try to collect money in your neighborhood/etc. and tell them it's for anti-global warming. Then plan what to buy that can help anti-gw. or TIP: As a group, tell your neighbors/etc. about the event and tell them to join to plant trees or recycle.

    2.  For small jobs, that kids can do or you can do if you are inside the house:

    A. Lessen your garbage Or.....

    B. If you have a trash, and if you think it can be recycled. Just keep it and recycle.

    C. Talk to your friends about global warming so they can be aware and can help you out.

    D. Surf the Internet or watch TV to find useful projects that you can do with trash. Tip: chimes made of bottles, bracelets and fashionable things attract many teens. Curl paper art, the bottle art, leaves art etc. attracts kids. They will enjoy it, and they even help!

    3. Write letters and petitions and send to representatives.

    4. Buy environment friendly things. Or tell everyone.

    5. Educate people.

    6.  Walk/use bicycle. Use public transportation if necessary.

    here's a site:

  3. PRAY!!

    just kidding.

  4. I would start off with solutions.  People get bombarded with fragments of these issues, and have little idea what can be done to prevent them and avert to a lifestyle that won't compromise this issue that affects all of us.

I think helping in your waste management program in your community would be a great start.  Composting especially. If there are community gardens in your neighborhood, I would educate community members on the benefits of having a space in a community garden, and offer to help start a program collecting compost from your neighborhood to contribute to create a large community compost - so everyone can have the benefit of getting clean (and free) soil for their own gardens.

Also, encourage your hometown or city to create city bike paths to make it easier for cyclists to bike to work/school instead of driving their cars.

Presenting the urgency of the issue is a start, but a follow up on tangible solutions is going to make people listen and act.

  5. To educate others in the issue of GW, add what I said in your other question

    Plus:

    1. give free lectures by asking a town council/school to help you organize people to attend your lectures

    2. motivate them to attend your lecture(e.g. be charismatic, give free snacks, etc.)

    3. look for a convenient place to hold such a lecture (university halls, town hall/theaters, or the likes)

    4. Look for sponsors if possible (try to look for food sponsors who may provide food for the attendees).

    Other things you may do:

Contact schools and urge them to educate students about global warming, make a blog, upload a video in youtube, make a gigantic banner, write an opion in your local papers, contact other media (local radio or tv) or even popular actors who are concerned with the environment.

Best of all, teach by example accompanied only with your words. Practice what you preach.

It may not be easy if you're in a developed country like USA, UK, Canada, Japan, France, etc.; but in a country like the Philippines, where I'm from, the free food is enough to convince folks to attend. Yup, based on my experience when we hold mass health education (I'm a nurse) for the people, more people attend when you say there are free snacks and drinks. Also try to seek the help of your Church, that is if they have extra guys who can help.

  6. I'm personally a big fan of the synthetic fuel plants. These plants can take biomass or coal or natural gas and turn it into  very high grade, clean burning fuels - gasoline, diesel, jet fuel etc..

The beauty is that the plants can use biomass and as long as you can supply them, it's a completely green fuel.  I see planting, harvesting and planting again....

  7. these steps should be taken to fight global warming:

    *Look for energy qualified products

*Heating cooling conditioners should be tuned well once a year.

    *Seal n insulate ur home.

*Reduce n reuse n recycle every thing u use.

    *Grow more plants.

    *Use water efficiently.

*Use ur personal vehicle as less as possible n when u cant walk, train or buss can be best options as u can imagine- 50 persons driving their personal cars would emit more polluting gases n waste more fuel than a single bus carrying them.

*Maintain ur vehicles well so that they stay fuel efficient.

All u need to do is to spread this message to everyone u possibly can.

U can arrange a seminar or let ur frnds help u in painting posters n sticking them in ur college ,or u can get prints n distribute them, u can tell ur college authority or churh authority to spread the awareness they;ll surely help u. Keep teaching the area kids or relatives- A child is man's father :-).

U can even go to festival gatherings or concerts n talk to the event managers n steal 10 mins of the show for this important cause, or the morning assembly or prom or ur bday or any important day of ur life or ur college life can be used constructively.

  8. Find a way to block the sun.  Other than that you energy would be better spent helping alleviate human suffering.  But then I doubt you really care about anyone other than yourself.  You can do nothing about GW.  Even your advocates say so, like the UN..

  9. education on the matter. lots of people are afraid to see the news becouse it is scary.we all need to watch more nat-geo documentaries .that way we become more aware about it.
