  1. see now we are in such a situation that we cannot even think of reducing the CO2 level in the atms. coz now a days even when we speak we are releasing CO2. ya but there is one way to increase the O2 level by PLANTING TREES.

  2. simple, go back to being a third world country. otherwise there really isn't much you can do thats gonna make any difference at all. Co2 just doesn't disappear over  night it takes about 20 years to remove itself from the atmosphere. So the world wont be co2 free for about another 50 years, and with the destruction of the rain forest and other natural producers of co2 your not gonna stop it. your better off helping the land adjust better to the climate change. You could go back to using cfc, because they help deflect sun rays away from the earth, but destroy the ozone..

  3. You can reduce your carbon dioxide emissions by simply installing a Sofnolime C02 scrubber on all machines, factories, animals, and people.  The US Navy uses this technology for their entire submarine fleet.  It is amazing.

  4. Causes

Thick haze and smoke, originating from burning biomass in northwestern India and air pollution from large industrial cities in northern India, often concentrate inside the Ganges Basin. Prevailing westerlies carry aerosols along the southern margins of the steep-faced Tibetan Plateau to eastern India and the Bay of Bengal. Dust and black carbon, which are blown towards higher altitudes by winds at the southern faces of the Himalayas, can absorb shortwave radiation and heat the air over the Tibetan Plateau. The net atmospheric heating due to aerosol absorption causes the air to warm and convect upwards, increasing the concentration of moisture in the mid-troposphere and providing positive feedback that stimulates further heating of aerosols.

    Effects

The effects of global warming on India vary from the submergence of low-lying islands and coastal lands to the melting of glaciers in the Indian Himalayas, threatening the volumetric flow rate of many of the most important rivers of India and South Asia.  Glaciers in the Himalayas are retreating at an average rate of 50 feet (15 m) per year, consistent with the rapid warming recorded at Himalayan climate stations since the 1970s. Winter stream flow for the Baspa glacier basin has increased 75% since 1966 and local winter temperatures have warmed, suggesting increased glacier melting in winter. Entire areas have already been thrust underwater due to flooding.  In southern India, heat has become unbearable. In May 2002, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, temperatures rose to 120F, resulting in the highest one-week death toll on record. This heat wave came in the context of a long-term warming trend in Asia in general. India, including southern India, has experienced a warming trend at a rate of 1F (0.6C) per century.  Such effects are projected to impact millions of lives. As a result of ongoing climate change, the climate of India has become increasingly volatile over the past several decades; this trend is expected to continue.

    Solutions

Although we cannot completely end the current crisis especially in developing countries, we must reduce pollution from vehicles and power plants. We should put existing technologies for building cleaner cars and more modern electricity generators into widespread use. We can increase our reliance on renewable energy sources such as wind, sun and geothermal. And we can manufacture more efficient appliances and conserve energy.

  5. there are a number of factors that have been responsible for global warming whic include the folowing

increased defforestation where more forest are being depleted for more human economic activities forexample the Amazon forest in Brazil is being depleted with permision from the Brazilian government for soya production, logging, cattle ranching, mining and Hydroelectric dams

Increased emition of greenhouse gases leading to an increase in global tempretures

    how to combat global warming

increased farmers growing crops for production of biofuels .Countries such as brazil,USA and other european powers are encouraging their farmers to grow corn for manufacture of biofuels which can help combat global warming. the indian government can also encourage its farmers to grow crops for bio fuels production. however this method has been responsible fo sending millions of people hungry much as it can help combat global warming

increased use of cleaner energy sources which helps reduce the amount of carbondioxide in the atmosphere hence helping to combat global warming

individual participation in environmentral consevation and protection activities.we all need to get involved, you too need to get involved because our participation can do a great deal of work instead of waiting for our governments to spoon feed us.one can plant forexample a tree in a home compound.so what are you doing to have a greener earth? This will help india alot

Discussion forums over the internet can also do a great deal because they empower more people with information of how to conserve the environment.one can establish a blog where we can share knowledge forexample i have established a blog recently called http://greenearthed.blogspot.com/ where we share knowledge about the envirronment

There are more thins that can be done to combat blobal warmin
