What can we do to prevent yet another murder of a newborn?

No child deserves to die, especially the ones who haven't even had a chance to live. I can't help but cry when I hear about some horrendous murder a mother inflicted on her child. I have children myself and I hate that I have to spank their bottoms at times. How can we give these children a chance?

A woman killed her 4 month old baby in a microwave and I am left traumatized and I hurt when hearing these news. There are so many people out there who want to be parents, why not give them a chance?

How in this world can we prevent this from happening again?

We can't.   We can't even identify them, they could be your next door neighbor, a friend, or even a family member,  This is just the evil world we live in.

There will always be messed up people out there. The only thing you can do is try your hardest to stop it. You may never completely succeed but isn't that a fight worth fighting for anyway?

Unfortunately, you can't. There are just simply sick people in this world. There's nothing we can do to stop all suffering. It's part of life.

The more you try to make sure that it never happens again, the more freedom you give up until you're living in a cage with no choices of your own to make.

there women in the world who would give anything for a child.

how a woman can conscientiously kill her own child is beyond me. i have no children my self, but i have many younger relatives whom i often babysit, and i have witnessed, unavoidable infant death tear my family on numerous occasions, through no fault of the parents.

women who can do that have no right to have children.

If a woman is known to be emotionally unstable, she should be committed to an institution BEFORE she gives birth, and if she is already pregnant at the time, the child should be raised by the nearest possible relative.  Such women are, unfortunately, not in a good condition to raise a child.  However, many such women do recover, and when they do, they should definitely be released to their families.

Other than that, there isn't really much we can do.  If a woman suffers from post-partum depression, it generally isn't recognized until after her first child is born.  This may also account for many cases of SIDS.

Maybe it would have been better not to have been born than to be killed in a microwave.

Children have the right to be loved, nurtured and cared for when they are born.  If a parent can't do that, then better they not be born at all.

Abortion is the one single biggest issue separating the Republicans from the Democrats.

And liberal democrats will fight tooth and nail to allow taxpayer funded abortions to be used as a form of birth control.

Since there is no way to predict which woman will suffer from post-partum depression, we cannot ever stop it.  What is really outrageous is when someone like Andrea Yates has it repeatedly but the husband keeps getting her pregnant and the medical community completely fails her.  A couple of years ago, a woman in Dallas cut off her baby's arms.  She had shown signs of schizophrenia for some time, but it was ignored.  So for a lot of women, better mental health care might prevent it, but for some, there is no warning to prevent it.

it makes u wonder...would this have happened if she had terminated the pregnancy instead of going full term and it ending so horrifically bad. I always wonder that when I hear of a woman killing her own child. I can only imagine what she goes thru to get to a stage like this.

My heart breaks for kids, and aimals, they are the innocence that suffer :(

Be prolife, help young girls to have the hope to raise their child.  PRAYER,PRAYER,PRAYER  

This is so powerful, don't discount it.

Pray for the soul of that poor baby and that he is in the hands of God.  Love your own children and raise them to respect all life.  When they are grown, they will influence others as well.
