  2. The best thing to learn is to not allow the investment issues that led to the stock market crash of 1929 which put a lot of people out of work. What the CCC project was about was the Federal government starting up work programs that put people to work, who were willing to do the work to begin with. These projects included the development of the Federal parks for needed pavilions, camp sites, roads, and other park infra-structure. The skyline drive was a CCC project that was finally finished in the mid 1990's. Poor control over investment money with nothing to back it up led to the issues that rocked the country then. The CCC program gave people needed work. Over all, it was a good idea that helped kick start the economy to get the economy running again. The largest "shot in the economic arm" for America was WW2.
